Cognitive Behaviour Therapy can work, whatever your age, situation or problem. Whether you are stressed, worried, depressed, confused, feeling bad about yourself, wanting to make some changes in your life or coping with unwanted change or crisis cognitive behaviour therapy can help you. Most of the work with clients uses a very practical, active and goal-focused approach. During our work together, clients discover how their thoughts (self-talk, mental images, and underlying attitudes or core beliefs) affect their mood and behaviour. They also look at how their mood and behaviour, in turn, frequently affect the way others perceive and behave toward them. This often results in vicious cycles and self-fulfilling prophecies that worsen their mood, self-esteem and relationships, and make it very hard to get what you want.
